SAN LEANDRO -- Police have released a sketch of a man wanted in connection with a takeover robbery earlier this summer.

Police said two men climbed through an open window of a home in the 2000 block of Britannia Lane about 11 p.m. on July 14 while a family was asleep in their house. Police released a sketch of only one of the men.

Police said the men demanded money from the family and threatened to harm them with a hand tool if they refused to cooperate. The victims cooperated and no one was injured.

Police did not disclose what was stolen.

Police Lt. Randall Brandt said a sketch artist was brought in recently after leads went cold.

Police did not provide a full description of the suspects.
