OAKLAND -- Police are investigating three shootings that happened over a 10-hour period between Monday night and Tuesday morning in different parts of the city.
All of the victims are expected to recover. None of the shootings are related, police said.
The latest shooting happened about 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 9300 block of Holly Street in East Oakland where a man was shot twice in the buttocks and groin area.
Police don't have a motive yet and no arrests were made.
At 10:30 p.m. Monday, an apparent drive-by shooting in the 3000 block of East Ninth Street in the Fruitvale district left a man with multiple wounds.
Police believe the shooting could be gang-related. At least three suspects, one with a gun, fled in a vehicle.
At 7:50 p.m. Monday a woman was shot in the 300 block of Adeline Street. She was able to get her own transportation to a hospital.
Police are trying to determine what led to the shooting. No one has been arrested.
