Kings of Leon and Vampire Weekend will help make sure that this year's Not So Silent Night definitely lives up to its name.

No So Silent Night, local radio station Live 105's incredibly popular annual holiday party, takes place Dec. 6 and 7 at Oracle Arena in Oakland.

The lineup for the first night has been announced and includes Kings of Leon, Vampire Weekend and Queens of the Stone Age (which just performed at the Bridge School Benefit concerts at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View). Other acts scheduled for that night are AFI, Arctic Monkeys and Capital Cities.

The lineup for Night Two will be announced at 5 p.m. Nov. 4.

"What's really incredible about this year's epic NSSN 2013 lineup is that not only could it easily fill two nights at the Shoreline Amphitheatre but it's also loaded with bands that we at Live 105 have helped break and artists that we've passionately supported since Day One," says Aaron Axelsen, Live 105's music director and assistant program director states.

Tickets for the Dec. 6 NSSN go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Nov. 1 through Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com). Tickets are $39.50-$150. See the radio station's website, www.live105.com, for information about a presale that begins at 10 a.m. Oct. 30.
