BERKELEY -- A teenager has been arrested for allegedly robbing a woman at gunpoint, police said.

Authorities said Kalee Gibbs, 18, robbed a 21-year-old woman at 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 as the woman walked on the 2600 block of Derby Street. Gibbs allegedly pointed a gun at the woman and grabbed her phone and purse before fleeing, according to police. The woman was not hurt.

Officers arrested him a short time later near the intersection of Regent Street and Dwight Way, police said. He was arrested on suspicion of armed robbery.
