Milpitas Police Depart-ment is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of three suspects involved in the murder of a 7-Eleven employee last year.

Milpitas resident Moham-mad Reza Sadeghzadeh, 67, was fatally shot during an early morning robbery on Sept. 8, 2012 at the 7-Eleven store at 1496 N. Milpitas Blvd.

The homicide the only one reported in Milpitas in 2012 took place about a block from police department headquarters.

Three days after the slaying, Milpitas Police Department released images from surveillance footage of the robbery, which re-vealed three armed men wearing hooded sweatshirts entering the store and confronting Sadeghzadeh.

Police said the first suspect was a man of unknown race wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a white mask. The second suspect was described as a light-skinned man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black mask. The third suspect was described as an African-American man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black or white gloves.

Police say the $20,000 reward will be given to the person providing significant information leading to the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for the 7-Eleven slaying. If more than one person provides such information, the reward will be divided among them but in no event shall the total reward exceed $20,000.
