ANTIOCH -- A Manteca man wanted in connection with a homicide at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds in September has been arrested, police said Thursday.
Jamontee Mahari Jones, 20, has been charged with one count of homicide and two counts of attempted homicide and is being held on $5.05 million bail, according to Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office spokesman Jimmy Lee.
Jones was arrested last week during a traffic stop in San Mateo, Lee added.
An arrest warrant was issued for Jones in connection with the slaying of Oakland resident Amber Abangan. Abangan, 31, was shot to death on Sept. 8 after a fight broke out at the Paradise Skate Roller Rink at the fairgrounds.
Abangan was taken to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch where she was later pronounced dead. Two other shooting victims were taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with non-life threatening injuries.
