OAKLAND -- A 64-year-old man with Parkinson's disease has been missing since Sunday morning, when he was last seen in downtown Oakland, police said.
Michael Evans has difficulty walking and has other physical and mental problems, police said.
He is white, standing about 6 foot 1 and weighing 170 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen at 10 a.m. Sunday at 11th Street and Broadway, police said.
On Sunday morning he told his roommate he was headed to visit a friend in Jack London Square and that he would return on Monday. He has not been seen since, police say, and investigators found a possible suicide note that Evans left in his home.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about Evans is asked to call the Oakland police missing persons unit at 510-238-3641.
