Beyonce made a new album and didn't tell anyone, releasing it on iTunes at some point between the sun going down Thursday and coming up Friday.

Word is it was so secret, she didn't even know about until TMZ told her.

Cleverly titled "Beyonce, " it features 14 new songs, with lots of guest stars, including Jay Z, Drake, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, The Dream and Miguel.

Wow ... how did she get Jay-Z? That guy is kind of a big deal.

TMZ reported that even Beyonce's daughter, Blue Ivy, gets a credit on the record, whatever that means.

Not only did Beyonce release 14 songs, but she somehow made 17 videos to go along with them.

"I see music," Beyonce said, according to E! News. "It's more than just what I hear. When I'm connected to something, I immediately see a visual or a series of images that are tied to a feeling or an emotion, a memory from my childhood, thoughts about life, my dreams or my fantasies. And they're all connected to the music.

"I didn't want to release my music the way I've done it. I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There's so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn't want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it's ready and from me to my fans."

"Beyonce" is the singer's fifth solo record. The double disc CD/DVD will be available at retail in time for the holidays.
