A body found in Vallejo in July has been determined to be a murder victim, police said today.
The body was found near Lemon and Derr streets on July 5 but had already significantly decomposed, police said.
After conducting an autopsy, the coroner's office concluded the victim, now believed to be a Hispanic man between 30 and 50 years old, was murdered, police said.
The victim stood between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing a dark extra-large "G-Unit" T-shirt and Denizen jeans with a 36- to 38-inch waist and 30-inch length.
Police said that investigators have developed a DNA profile of the victim but has not been matched and the victim's identity remains unknown.
