SANTA CRUZ -- The autopsy of a 17-year-old Aptos boy whose body was found in the waters of Seacliff State Beach has yet to be performed, a Santa Cruz County sheriff's deputies said Tuesday.
The autopsy for Nathan Phillips, who was identified Saturday through fingerprints after being missing for nearly two weeks, was scheduled for Monday but was postponed, said deputy Ryan Kennedy.
The coroner's office is moving to a new building, which could hinder when the autopsy could be done, Kennedy said.
Phillips' body was found in the waters near the pier Thursday by fishermen. He was reported missing by his family after he was last seen leaving his Aptos home Dec. 2.
Investigators don't believe there's any foul play involved in the death.
