SAN JOSE -- A robber made off with an unspecified amount of cash from a bank on the 2800 block of Alum Rock Avenue in East San Jose on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The robber, described only as an adult male, entered the bank around 1:40 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. It is not known if he was armed.

The man fled with the money and no suspect has been identified or apprehended, police said. There were no reports of injuries. No additional information was immediately available.
