SAN JOSE -- Police detectives and U.S. deputy marshals have arrested two men suspected in four Santa Clara County bank robberies since September.

The robberies, which occurred in San Jose, Campbell and Milpitas, ended Dec. 20 with the arrest of Alvaro Hernandez, 28, in Milpitas, U.S. Marshal Don O'Keefe announced Saturday.

Deputy marshals and police detectives then tracked Oscar Radillo, 24, to Indiana, where he was arrested hours after Hernandez.

Hernandez is now in Santa Clara County Jail, while Radillo awaits extradition to California.

"The capture of these dangerous fugitives would not have occurred without the close cooperation between our local, state and federal law enforcement partners here and in Indiana," O'Keefe said.
