FREMONT -- A man armed with a note robbed a bank in Fremont on Monday morning, authorities said.

The suspect walked into U.S. Bank at 38980 Paseo Padre Parkway about 10:25 a.m. and handed a bank employee a note demanding money, according to Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques.

The bank employee complied.

The man was last seen leaving the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The man, who was captured on the bank's video surveillance, is black, about 25 to 35 years old, between 5-feet 9-inches and 6-foot-1 and weighs about 175 to 195 pounds. He is seen in the surveillance photos wearing a black hooded jacket with a white logo over the left breast side and a gray lining in the hood.

No weapons were seen or used during the robbery, according to police.
