OAKLAND -- A gunman with a demand note robbed a Grand Lake district bank Wednesday morning, police said.

The robbery happened about 11 a.m. at the Citibank branch, 3304 Grand Ave.

Police said the man went to a teller and showed her a gun and a note demanding money.

He left the bank with more than $1,000 and possibly got into a gray sedan, authorities said. No one was hurt.

Police said the robber was white, in his late 20s, about 6 feet 2 and 140 pounds with a blonde goatee. He wore sunglasses, a Raiders beanie and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $3,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the robber. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3326 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572.
