Ben Affleck and Matt Damon may soon reunite on the big screen -- for Harvey Weinstein's next project, "A Speck in the Sea."

For a second there, you thought I was going to say Damon is playing Robin, didn't you?

According to the New York Post's Page Six, Weinstein is courting the former "Good Will Hunting" actors for his adaptation of a story written by Paul Tough for The New York Times Magazine. Deadline.com reported Friday The Weinstein Company obtained the rights to the story. The project will be produced by Rachael Horovitz, Jason Blum and Harvey Weinstein, with Bob Weinstein serving as executive producer.

The film will tell the true story of lobsterman John Aldridge, who in July 2013 fell overboard into the Atlantic Ocean and used his rubber boots to float for 12 hours before he was rescued.

Those must have been some boots.

The Huffington Post reported reps for Affleck and Damon haven't got back to them to confirm the Page Six report.
