HAYWARD -- A man killed in a car crash on Sunday was identified as a 21-year-old Hayward resident, the Alameda County Coroner's office said Monday.
Omar Alimi died after losing control of his car and crashing into a light pole at 7:33 p.m. in the 30000 block of Industrial Parkway SW in Hayward, according to police.
Police received reports that Alimi was driving erratically, changing lanes and possibly speeding before the single-car crash. He was not wearing his seat belt, according to police.
