SAN JOSE -- The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office has released images of a man suspected of stealing about 60 feet of copper wire from the VTA Santa Teresa light rail station early Thursday morning, a theft that cost an estimated $10,000 to repair.
Surveillance cameras at the station captured the man walking onto the platform and a nearby vehicle, just before the theft.
The vehicle is described as a late 1990s to early 2000s Ford Mustang. The man appears to be in his 40s or 50s wearing a blue jacket with a white logo on the chest, a black dress shirt, khaki-style pants and white tennis shoes.
