When you need a few easy laughs, reach for the 1980s.

That's what Delta Air Lines did in its latest effort to get ho-hum passengers to watch the in-flight safety video -- and they've nailed it.

The over-the-top tribute to the decade features tacky clothing, big hair, leg warmers, lots of sight gags and a cockpit finale that will make you chuckle. (No spoiler here.)

Teddy Ruxpin and Alf make cameo appearances.

Oh, and there's all that state-of-the-art technology we enjoyed back then. Just remember to stow your cassette recorder before takeoff.
