FREMONT -- Police are looking for a man who robbed a Mowry Avenue bank Thursday afternoon.

At 1:42 p.m. a man entered the Patelco Credit Union located at 5166 Mowry Ave. and handed an employee a letter demanding money. He then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.

Officers and robbery detectives responded to the bank, but the man was not located.

The suspect is described as a black man his mid to late 30s, standing about 5 foot 10 to 6 feet tall with a thin to medium build, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt with a light colored graphic on the left side. Police have video surveillance of the robbery and said they will soon make pictures available.
