Robin Thicke canceled a show last Friday and flew to Canada in a desperate attempt to save his marriage to Paula Patton, according to TMZ.

And they lived happily ever after ...

You didn't think it would be that easy, do you?

Sources reportedly said that Patton told Thicke on Friday that she wanted a divorce. The "Blurred Lines" singer immediately canceled that night's show in Atlanta, saying he had a sore throat, and took off for Vancouver, where Patton is filming a movie.

TMZ said the pair had a long talk, acknowledging they don't get along very well any more. Which occasionally happens when one person in a marriage can't keep their paws off other women. Sources told the website Thicke eventually realized Patton is determined to end the marriage and reluctantly agreed. TMZ also said both entertainers were "very upset."

Thanks for that piece of insight.

Thicke canceled his show in Orlando the next day so he could be with the couple's young child.
