SAN LEANDRO -- Sheriff's deputies continue to look for a patient who left a mental health rehabilitation center more than two weeks ago and is without his medication.

On the evening of Feb. 11, patient Theodore Abbott, 49, left Villa Fairmont Hospital at 15200 Foothill Blvd. in San Leandro, said a spokesman from the Alameda County Sheriff's office.

His whereabouts are unknown, but between Feb. 21 and Feb. 23 there was a possible sighting of Abbott near the Courtyard Marriott at 988 Broadway in Oakland, authorities said.

Authorities said Abbott is diagnosed with schizophrenia, is without his medication and is considered at risk. Abbott is a white man and was last seen wearing a green shirt with a white undershirt. He is 5 foot 9 and weighs 133 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Anyone who sees him should call 911.
