SAN FRANCISCO --A computer glitch caused significant delays for travelers disembarking at the international terminal of San Francisco International Airport on Saturday, delaying passengers by hours and causing some to even pass out from exhaustion, KCBS is reporting.

The source of the problem was Customs and Border Patrol computers that were malfunctioning, causing a significant delay through customs, according to KCBS.

Some passengers passed out due to exhaustion and dehydration while they waited, and one man got so frustrated he even tried to run out of the waiting area, before being stopped by agents, KCBS said.

The airport was still struggling to correct the problem Saturday evening and said it would assist passengers feeling ill as a result of the long wait, according to KCBS.
