A gas leak in San Francisco's Lower Pacific Heights neighborhood has forced evacuations and traffic closures this morning, according to the fire department.
A truck hit a gas main in the 1900 block of Divisidero Street at about 10 a.m., causing the leak, fire officials said.
There is a strong odor of gas in the area and some people were evacuated while traffic was closed at Divisidero and Pine streets, according to the fire department.
PG&E arrived for repairs about 15 minutes after the leak was reported, fire officials said.
