OAKLAND -- Four men were wounded within hours of each other in separate shooting incidents Saturday in East Oakland, police said.
The most recent shooting, at 1:41 p.m. at the Seminary Gas & Food Mart, located at 6235 Seminary Ave., injured two, but both are expected to live. In that incident, two groups were shooting at each other when a man in one of the groups was shot in the leg and a bystander was grazed in the head.
The men are listed in stable condition at an area hospital.
The daylight shooting Saturday afternoon was a continuation of a spate of shootings that began Saturday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., initial reports on the first shooting were that a man was apparently driving in a car at 98th Avenue and Plymouth Street in the Elmhurst district when someone in another car began shooting at him.

His name and age were not released. He was in stable condition at a hospital.
Police did not have a motive for the shooting and no arrests have been made.
Just over an hour later at 10:39 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of 92nd Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man lying in a driveway behind a residence.
He is currently in stable condition at an area hospital.
