OAKLAND -- A man was wounded in the stomach and a teenager in the hand in separate shootings Tuesday morning in East Oakland, police said.

The man, whose name and age were not released, was found shot about 6:52 a.m. Tuesday inside a vacant house in the 1700 block of Church Street in the Havenscourt district. He was taken to a hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Police don't have a motive for the shooting and no arrests have been made.

About 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, a teenage boy walked into UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland with a gunshot wound to the hand. Police were trying to confirm the teen's age. He was in stable condition.

He told police he was shot in Cesar Chavez Park in the 3700 block of Foothill Boulevard in the Fruitvale district. No other details were released about motive or possible suspects or how the boy got to the hospital.

The shootings do not appear to be related, police said.
