SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO -- Police are searching for three armed robbery suspects who ambushed a South San Francisco man in his garage Wednesday night.

The man was inside his open garage about 11 p.m. in the 300 block of Susie Way when two suspects in their early 40s appeared and demanded his property, police said. One of the men pulled out a gun while the other gathered an undisclosed amount of cash and personal belongings.

The men loaded the items into a white pick-up truck with a custom lift and brown temporary plates, which was driven by a third female suspect, police said. The resident was not hurt in the robbery.

The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man about 6 feet, 1 inch tall with a stocky build, unshaven with short black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a white T-shirt, brown jacket and blue jeans, and had multiple tattoos on his right arm.

The second suspect was described as a white man about 6 feet tall with a slender build, clean shaven with short, blond hair and blue eyes. He had a distinct teardrop tattoo beneath the corner of his right eye and was wearing a black baseball cap, baggy white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans.

A complete description of the female suspect was not immediately available.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to contact South San Francisco police at 650-877-8900 or the anonymous tip line at 650-952-2244.
