SAN JOSE -- A 15-year-old girl received minor injuries in a drive-by shooting Tuesday morning, according to police.

The girl was treated at the scene and was not hospitalized, police said. She was not hit by a bullet. No one else was injured.

The shooting was reported at 4:46 a.m. in the 2100 block of Lausett Avenue, according to San Jose police Sgt. Heather Randol.

The victim told police she went outside to check on a disturbance. She said someone fired a gun from a vehicle and fled.

Police are not releasing any additional information about the shooting.
