Gwyneth Paltrow disease may be spreading like wildfire in Hollywood, which isn't exactly known for rational, every day perspective.
In a recent interview with Sky News, Charlize Theron compared the way the media covers her personal life to being raped.
It's almost as if she insisted on pulling the foot out of Paltrow's mouth and jamming into her own.
As you may or may not know, Paltrow insulted those who have fought or been victimized by real war, by comparing unflattering Internet comments to suffering through war. And it looks like Theron is trying to get her off the hook.
According to TMZ, the interviewer from Sky News mentioned the results of a Google search on her name. Theron -- currently starring in Seth MacFarlane's "A Million Ways to Die in the West" -- said she avoids Googling herself because "when you start living in that world, and doing that, you start feeling raped."
So Googling oneself is just like being violently sexually assaulted? Yet another Hollywood actress has demonstrated that she has very little common sense and a tenuous grip on what normal people call "reality."
Then again, that can't be true -- she's dating Sean Penn. And everybody knows he's practically the sensible boy next door.
