SAN JOSE -- Two people were injured in separate shootings on Friday in San Jose.

The first shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. at the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority light rail station near San Fernando and Second streets, police said.

The victim was shot at least once and the injury is not considered life-threatening, according to investigators.

The second shooting occurred about 10 p.m. in the 3200 block of Rocky Mountain Road.

The male victim was taken to a hospital and his condition has not yet been released.

There are no suspects in either shooting, police said.
