Jonah Hill admitted Monday on Howard Stern's radio show that he launched a homophobic slur last weekend toward a paparazzo.

Hill was walking around the Larchmont area of Los Angeles over the weekend when a couple of photographers started asking questions, according to TMZ. Hill didn't respond, even when one of the guys mocked his floral print shorts, saying, "I like the shorts though, bro. They are pretty sexy."

That sounds like a really nice compliment to me. Who wouldn't want to wear "sexy" floral print shorts ... right?

The photographer followed the "22 Jump Street" actor for another 40 seconds or so before wishing him a good day. Which, apparently was the wrong thing to wish on Jonah Hill.

"Suck my (expletive), you (slur)," Hill reportedly said.

Hill told Stern, "What I said in that moment was disgusting ... I shouldn't have said that."

Hill, who has a history of supporting gay rights, took blame for the remark, but said the photographer had been following him around, supposedly saying hurtful things about his family.

TMZ reported that during the Stern interview, Hill also pulled the "gay friends card," saying he just happened to be spending the rest of Monday with a gay friend who is getting married soon.
