SAN JOSE -- A motorcyclist was killed Monday morning in a collision with a big-rig, according to police.
At 6:54 a.m. police responded to reports of the collision in the area of Berryessa Road and Commercial Street, according to Sgt. Heather Randol.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. Police did not immediately release the identity of the motorcyclist.
The San Jose Police Department's traffic investigations unit responded and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatality, Randol said.
