OAKLAND -- Two men shot Thursday night while driving in East Oakland will recover from their wounds, police said Friday.
The 20-year-old driver was grazed in the head and his 20-year-old passenger was hit in the thigh. Their names were not released. Both are from Oakland.
The shooting happened about 8:35 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of 69th Avenue when someone outside the car opened fire on the men.
The driver was able to drive to his nearby home, where a relative took both men to a hospital. They were in stable condition.
Police don't have a motive in the shooting and no arrests have been made.
