Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is angry that Angela Bassett won't cast her to play her mother in an upcoming Lifetime movie.

Bassett, who is directing the movie, recently told Entertainment Weekly that Brown was never a candidate.

"I did not think about casting her. And probably for a number of reasons, you know. One being that she's not an actress. I know she's acted here and there. I know she's been on their family's reality show, but she's not an actress and acting is a craft," she said.

"It's an attempt to illuminate the complexities of human behavior and life," Bassett added of the film. "And this is a very fast-paced schedule; we have just 21 days to tell this story. It's more than just saying lines and turning the light on. You have to drive the story -- there's a technical aspect."

Right. That totally makes sense. Surely, any rational adult could see Bassett makes some very good points ... right?

"Ha MsAng "bassketcase" has such a damn nerve my lord, at least the world doesn't mistake me for the wrong sex...she has some #XtraEquipment," Brown, 21, tweeted.

As one might imagine, university debate teams all over America immediately began recruiting Brown after seeing that.

She continued, "When I win my first Grammy or Oscar, *Shrugs* hmm whichever comes 1st, I'll be sure 2shout URname out b-tch! Hah UrTestResults = Male. Lmao."

You mean this eloquent and talented young woman has yet to win an Oscar or a Grammy? Surely because she was far too busy working on a Pulitzer and/or Nobel Prize.

It was announced earlier this month former "America's Next Top Model" contestant Yaya DeCosta will play Houston in the biopic. DeCosta was a child actor who had recurring roles on "All My Children" and "Ugly Betty." She has also appeared in "Lee Daniels' The Butler" and "Tron: Legacy."

No word on whether she has won a Grammy or an Oscar yet.
