Alec Baldwin is negotiating to join Tom Cruise in "Mission: Impossible 5."

That's a whole lot of crazy packed into one movie.

Baldwin would play the director of the CIA, while "The White Queen" star Rebecca Ferguson will reportedly play a villain, an individual familiar with the Paramount project told TheWrap. Paramount did not immediately reply to a request for comment from the website.

Ferguson would take the role once rumored as Jessica Chastain's.

Christopher McQuarrie will direct a script by Drew Pearce. and Cruise is producing with J.J. Abrams and Skydance's David Ellison. Shooting is scheduled to begin this fall.

Baldwin is also reportedly in talks to join Will Smith in Peter Landesman's drama about football concussions. And the former "30 Rock" star apparently will star in Cameron Crowe's upcoming untitled film starring Bradley Cooper and Emma Stone, according to TheWrap.

If he keeps this up, he may not find time to scream at photographers anymore.

Ferguson will soon star in "Hercules," though probably not in the title role.
