CONCORD -- Motorists should expect delays on Willow Pass Road between Galindo and Mira Vista streets in downtown over the next seven weeks as crews replace a sewer line, officials said.
The project, on the south side of the street, is slated to start Monday and wrap up on Friday, Aug. 29.
Work will be done between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Willow Pass Road will be open to traffic during construction, but motorists should expect some lane closures as crews work on the project.
The project is part of the city's process to replace 60- to 70-year-old clay pipe sewer lines that are undersized or failing. The project is being paid for through a city fund for sewer repairs and upgrades.
