SACRAMENTO -- Three Bay Area attorneys have been appointed to serve on the Santa Clara County Superior Court, Gov. Jerry Brown announced Wednesday.
Christopher G. Rudy, Joshua Weinstein and Charles E. Wilson II will all be filling vacancies that were created from previous retirements, and each will be paid $181,292 annually. All are Democrats.
Rudy, a 53-year-old Boulder Creek resident, has been a partner at Stenberg Sunseri Roe Pickard and Rudy since 1994. He earned his law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University.
Weinstein, a 55-year-old San Francisco resident, has served as a judicial staff attorney at the First District Court of Appeal since 2008 and earned a law degree from the Golden Gate University School of Law.
Wilson, a 39-year-old lawyer from East Palo Alto, has served as a deputy district attorney at the Alameda County District Attorney's Office since 2007 and earned a law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
