BAY POINT -- A woman safely escaped her Bay Point mobile home after a fire broke out just after noon on Tuesday, authorities said
Fire crews were dispatched at 12:05 p.m. to a mobile home park on Pacifica Avenue for a report of smoke, Contra Costa County Fire District Capt. Robert Marshall said.
When firefighters arrived, the woman was already outside the double-wide mobile home that caught fire. She was not injured.
Crews had the one-alarm blaze under control by about 12:30 p.m., Marshall said.
The fire began in the dining room, Marshall said, but the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
