ORINDA -- A two-car crash caused heavy delays Monday afternoon on eastbound Highway 24, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash caused both cars to overturn at 1:37 p.m. just west of Camino Pablo in Orinda, the CHP said. Ambulances and firefighters were called to the crash site although the injuries reported were minor.
Two lanes of the highway were initially blocked, but one lane was later reopened. The No. 1 lane was expected to remain closed until about 4 p.m.
