Twitter is reportedly taking another look at its policies after Robin Williams' daughter deleted her social media accounts this week because she was harassed by other users after her father's suicide on Monday.

Zelda Williams said Wednesday she was done with Twitter and Instagram after receiving cruel messages.

CNN reports that Twitter has released a statement saying it won't "tolerate abuse of this nature" on its site.

"This includes expanding our policies regarding self-harm and private information, and improving support for family members of deceased users," it read.

Wiliams, 25, initially asked other users to report anonymous users who bullied her. But she eventually gave up and quit both services.

"I'm sorry. I should have risen above, "she tweeted. "Deleting this from my devices for a good long time, maybe forever. Time will tell. Goodbye."

There's no specific word yet on what changes Twitter might make.
