SAN LEANDRO -- Investigators arrested three suspects in a shooting at Bayfair Mall that left a 25-year-old Richmond man wounded last week, San Leandro police said.

The shooting occurred at 10:48 a.m. Aug. 11, leaving the victim with a single gunshot wound to the leg. Police said that an unspecified dispute at a store inside the mall led to the shooting, which took place in a parking lot.

After reviewing the mall's security camera footage, police turned to the public for help in identifying the four suspects involved. Detectives identified Mirah Perez, 18, of San Lorenzo as one of the women in the footage.

On Friday, officers said they saw two men arrive at a home, in the same SUV spotted at the scene of last week's shooting. The suspects, later identified as Troy Lucas Jr., 19, of Las Vegas and Alphonso Jones, 20, of Oakland, were matched to the suspect descriptions and arrested.

Prosecutors filed attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon charges against Lucas and Jones, but they declined to file charges against Perez. A second female suspect in the video was a minor, police said, and she was not believed to have been directly involved in the shooting. She was not arrested or charged.

Police said Lucas and Jones had a previous disagreement with the victim before the shooting, but they no futher details were provided.
