Firefighters Sunday have knocked down a three-alarm structure fire at an apartment complex in Redwood City.
Redwood City Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief Stan Maupin said two people were treated for injuries due to the blaze, which occurred at a 12-unit complex at 950 Regent Court.
Maupin said one person suffered from minor smoke inhalation, and the other suffered a medical event not associated with the fire.
Firefighters responded to the fire at 7:06 p.m. and had it under control by 8 p.m.
Maupin said two units sustained heavy damage in the fire, and the fire did spread to a third.
All of the residents of the building, at least 12 people, were displaced for the evening.
Maupin said the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it was not related to this morning's earthquake in Napa or any subsequent aftershocks.
