SANTA CLARA -- A man who died after his Mazda careened into a pole in Santa Clara last week has been identified as 32-year-old Yueller Pedraza-Sandoval, according to the Santa Clara County Coroner.
Santa Clara police responded to Central Expressway at Commercial Street about 11:30 p.m. Aug. 20, according to Lt. Kurt Clarke. He said Pedraza-Sandoval was driving eastbound on Central Expressway when he lost control of his car near Commercial Street.
The 1999 Mazda crashed into a light pole, and Pedraza-Sandoval was pronounced dead at the scene, Clarke said.
