President Barack Obama wore a tan suit Thursday ... and the Internet exploded.

Good to see this country has its priorities straight. Then again, I write about Justin Bieber for a living.

Obama spoke Thursday at the White House, addressing military conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Ukraine. And he did it in a tan suit, which is apparently some sort of big deal.

Can Republicans try impeaching him for that? We'll probably find out ...

"Obama's getting one more summer suit in before Labor Day," @nowthisnews tweeted.

Within 24 hours of Suitgate, there were 13,863 tweets about Obama's suit, according to Topsy, a social media analytics firm.

According to Newsday, multiple spoof Twitter accounts have already been created, including @BarackTanSuit, @ObamaTanSuit and @Obamas_Tan_Suit.

"The Audacity of Taupe," director of programming at Mic Jared Keller tweeted.

One member of Congress is supporting the president's fashion choice. "I see no problem with the suit," John Dingell (D-Mich.) tweeted, along with a photo of himself in a similar tan suit.

Yes, we tan. God bless America.
