Font ResizeBritney Spears' father Jamie says he was happy to beat Sam Lutfi in court Thursday, but disappointed he didn't get a chance to take the stand and rip him one.
Well, he didn't quite say it like that. But we know what he means.
Jamie Spears told TMZ Friday he's he's pleased the judge tossed out Lutfi's defamation lawsuit against the Spears family, but expressed disappointment at not being able to take the stand and tell the "real" story.
He also said it was hard to relive the darkest days of his daughter's life, when he thought she might actually die. He also said no one took the situation harder than Britney's mom Lynne.
Jamie said Britney hasn't spoken to Lutfi in four or five years.
The judge dismissed Lutfi's lawsuit for lack of evidence -- a lawsuit in which Lutfi claimed the Spears family defamed him, physically attacked him, and breached a management contract he had with Spears.
Jamie also said he does foresee and end to his daughter's conservatorship, but he's not sure when. He also talked about Britney's current gig on "X Factor," saying she got off to a rough start because of nerves, but has improved every week.
WOMAN SAYS CEE LO DRUGGED HER: The woman accusing Cee Lo Green of sexual battery allegedly secretly recorded a conversation with the singer, during which Green admitted slipping her Ecstasy and then having sex with her, sources told TMZ.
TMZ said the woman, who does not live in California, almost immediately went to her local law enforcement agency and reported the incident. The matter was referred to Los Angeles Police
Sources told TMZ Los Angeles detectives had the woman make a "pretext call" -- a call in which someone baits the other party into acknowledging a crime -- and it was recorded. Green allegedly apologizes and refers to MDMA (Ecstasy), though he does not specifically say he put it in her drink. Sources say Green told her he thought the drug would help them have an exciting time together. MDMA, which is a stimulant, generally does not render people unconscious.
Police went to the restaurant last week to determine if employees saw anything unusual between Green and the woman. Sources close to Green reportedly told TMZ the accuser went to a civil lawyer before going to police and demanded money from the singer to make the allegations go away.
Other sources told TMZ said the woman's lawyer called Green's manager to find out if the singer had any communicable diseases, but that she did not make any money demands.
AMANDA BYNES RUNS AROUND TANNING SALON NAKED: Finally, a new adventure for the shining sack of craziness that is Amanda Bynes.
In Touch magazine reported Thursday saying the 26-year-old actress had been walking around naked at Beach Bump tanning salon in New York.
"She walked out of the (tanning) room completely naked," the publication quotes a source as saying. "She didn't seem to care that everyone saw her naked. She seemed totally out of it. There was definitely something wrong with her."
Well ... yeah.
But gossip website Celebuzz reports that Bynes denied In Touch's story (via text message) and added that "she'd sue."
Bynes has had quite a year. She's been charged in two separate hit-and-run accidents. She's facing a DUI charge after she crashed into a police car. She's been spotted driving around Southern California aimlessly, once seen smoking from what looked like a marijuana pipe. She also announced she was retired as an actor and moved to New York to start a clothing line.
Bynes told Us Weekly on Thursday "I'm suing In Touch for printing a fake story. I'm not 'troubled.' I don't get naked in public. I'm 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy."
That's right. Respect her privacy as she walks around a public place all naked and stuff. Retired actresses do that sort of thing, you know.
'TWILIGHT' STARS DO FIRST INTERVIEW SINCE CHEATING SCANDAL: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart sat down for their first interview together since news of Stewart's cheating scandal broke in July.
The newly reconciled couple, and "Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" co-star Taylor Lautner, sat down with "Entertainment Tonight's" Nancy O'Dell to talk about the final installment of the "Twilight" series, according to the Huffington Post.
OMG. :) and stuff! The band is back together again!
The three co-stars spoke to O'Dell about the journey they've taken staring in the blockbuster franchise, and Pattinson revealed that he felt like he had much less control or involvement with the final film than when they first filmed "Twilight" in 2008.
"The bigger something gets, it gets pretty heavy. You are part of a machine at that point. You know your face is still going to be on the front of it, but you have a little bit less control -- you have a lot less control," he said.
You mean, like, I don't know ... whether your girlfriend is off making other movies and cheating on you?
It didn't seem like there was much tension in the interview, though the website noticed Stewart was sitting closer to Lautner than she was to Pattinson.
So obviously she's cheating again.
The actors also sat down with MTV during "MTV First: The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2," which also aired on Nov. 1, where they talked about their Halloween costumes from the previous night, and Stewart made a revealing admission:
"I love 'Closer.' (It's) one of my favorite movies," she said of the 2004 film starring Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Clive Owen and Natalie Portman, as two couples who toy with each other's emotions as they cheat on each other.
Uh-huh.
Both Stewart and Pattinson wore creepy translucent masks to Hollywood Forever Cemetery's Halloween Bash on Wednesday night, and Stewart later donned a short pink wig and sunglasses, in homage to Portman's stripper character from the film.
STORM DESTROYS PART OF ROSIE O'DONNELL'S PROPERTY: Superstorm Sandy destroyed Rosie O'Donnell's dock and craft house and generally made her backyard look like it was hit by a hurricane. Which, you know, it was.
The 50-year-old television personality posted several pictures of a dock and flooded craft house torn to pieces by the Hudson River. But O'Donnell remained upbeat. "All is well here by us -- damage to the dock and flooded craft house -- all fixable," she made sure to note on her Twitter.
I'm sure Donald Trump is writing her a check as I type.
O'Donnell isn't the only celebrity to have been impacted by the storm, of course. Donnie Wahlberg shared video footage of the flooding that took place at his apartment building during the storm, while New Yorkers from Katie Holmes to Alec Baldwin were forced to evacuate their downtown Manhattan homes and find shelter elsewhere.
PRINCE WILLIAM'S GUARD FIRES GUN: One of Prince William's and Kate Middleton's guards fired a gunshot inside a vehicle last week, according to E! News. No one was injured.
Police are investigating the incident in which an officer believed to be guarding the home of the royal couple, accidentally fired a shot inside a vehicle. The shot damaged the floor of the vehicle but did not injure either of the officers inside.
Maybe the car was behaving in a threatening manner.
The officer involved has been removed from firearms duty while the incident is investigated.
William and his wife, now known as the Duchess of Cambridge, have a rented home in Wales, where the prince is a Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopter pilot. It wasn't specified whether they were home at the time of the incident.
