Jaime Pressly and Estella Warren almost got into a brawl Friday night.

The near-fracas occurred after Pressly's assistant discovered the "My Name is Earl" actress purse and phone were missing, likely lost at a Los Angeles home where they were at a birthday party started earlier. Using a "find my phone" app, Pressly and the assistant tracked the phone to Hollywood hotspot Bootsy Bellows, where Warren and several other party guests (including Zac Efron and Adam Lambert) were continuing the celebration, according to Us Weekly.

Us Weekly said the phone was discovered in Warren's possession, and that Warren said the phone was hers.

Uh-oh.

"Jaime was trying to get it back," an insider told the magazine. "She wasn't aggressive, but she was forceful."

Right. She was using her new "How to Get Forceful, But Not Quite Aggressive" app.

Warren maintained she owned the phone, while Pressly insisted that the phone belonged to her assistant. At one point, drugs were discovered in Pressley's purse, which led to the police getting involved.

That was probably when they both started saying the purse and phone belonged to the other person.

"Jaime and her assistant were volunteering for a drug test. They said the drugs weren't theirs," the witness told Us Weekly. "It was this crazy mess."

The West Hollywood Sheriff's Department said officers responded to two calls at Bootsy Bellows on April 5 -- a theft, at around 2 a.m., and a stolen vehicle -- but no other details were immediately available. The investigation is still active.
