Of these sweet banana peppers from his garden in Lafayette, Bob Benson writes, "They usually grow fairly straight and to about 4 to 7 inches in length, like the pepper on the right. However, the one on the left apparently grew downward, hit a fork at a branch, grew back upward and then curled its toes over its head like some gymnast."
