Juan Rico, left, carries a banner with other ACORN member families across West MacArthur Boulevard at Piedmont Avenue in Oakland on Thursday. Juan and Rosa Rico, who have four children, joined other ACORN members to stage a "move-in" at Wells Fargo's Piedmont Avenue branch to send a message to the bank that it modify their home laon so they can avoid foreclosure. "We've done what they asked, and now we cannot get in touch with anyone who is willing to help us, just representatives who harass us about our payments," Juan Rico said. "If the bank keeps refusing to talk to me, my family will have nowhere to go." The Ricos said they are being threatened with foreclosure just weeks after months of tireless attempts to work with their lender.
