The frozen peanut butter cookies and dough produced by Dough-to-Go, Inc. of Santa Clara may be tainted with a strain of harmful Salmonella bacteria, according to Dr. Mark Horton, director of the state public health department. He warned consumers not to eat or handle the products, which were sold by school groups between August and Jan. 16.
Although no illnesses have been reported in relation to the products, Horton advises consumers to dispose of them. Details about the recall are at 916-440-7259.
