LIVERMORE -- Windsor scored with 18 seconds left in the fourth quarter to win a wild game over the host Matadors in the opener for both teams.

Granada led 29-7 at halftime and after a furious Windsor rally, took a 36-32 lead on a 6-yard touchdown run by Brian Barnett with 1:32 left in the fourth quarter.

Granada won its first three nonleague games last season, which included shutout wins over Washington-Fremont and Skyline. The Matadors have a strong returning group, led by senior quarterback Tyler Offill, as they seek to return to the NCS Division I playoffs after falling short the past two years.

Granada plays at Antioch next week.
