ANTIOCH -- The Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a car believed to be involved in a homicide at the Paradise Skate Roller Rink at the county fairgrounds on Sept. 8.

On Sept. 8, 31-year-old Oakland resident Amber Abangan was shot to death at the fairgrounds, located at 1201 W. 10th Street in Antioch. Two other shooting victims were taken to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek with non-life threatening injuries. Police have not released their identities.

The vehicle is described as a gold-colored, two-door 1998 Toyota Solara, with a spoiler and a California license plate number 5JLM717, according to the sheriff's office. The vehicle, and possibly its occupants, may have ties to the Modesto or Manteca area, San Joaquin County or the city of Oakland, officials added, though they have not named any suspects.
